How do I post a video on my blog

There are 2 methods you can use to post a video on your blog.

You can upload a video from your computer, it will be hosted on Google Video, and then you can embed it directly into your blog post. That is time consuming and takes a lot of storage space.

The other way, is to embed it directly from YouTube or any other video sharing site that allows you to copy and paste the embedding code. That is the method we will use.

My Workspace

I am generally a very neat and organized person, but sometimes, in the middle of a project, my workspace can get out of control. You can see I use a Mac laptop as my main computer. I connect the laptop to an external screen to gain more onscreen space. I also have a netbook with Linux and Windows 7 installed for testing and further research.

No matter how digital I imagine myself, I cannot get away from papers either. I have notebooks fulls of notes and scraps of paper with forgotten notes, and even post it notes. It is amazing the amount of clutter that can be required to produce an uncluttered clear screencast, let's keep this dirty little secret between us.

One of my jobs is a contract content developer for Atomic Learning. I make video screencast tutorials for Atomic Learning on a variety of different software programs. I have made screencasts covering Google SketchUp 6 and 7, Blogger, Twitter, Open Office, and even a few trials ones in French.

There are so many things to think about before you even make your first blog post. Can it be simplified? I just want to write and to share my thoughts and ideas. Who would want to use labels anyway? I mean does anyone search with labels? Isn't it just one more thing to do that may or may not add value to your blog. You can already search the blog so why bother with labels.
